If you haven't come across Twysted Roots before, you really are in for a treat. If you have, you are still in for a treat.
Clair who makes these beautiful items is very talented indeed, and it shows in her work. There are so many intricate details in her handmade trees, all made from wire which gives the trunk and branches a real twist, and the foliage made from beads really makes these come alive.
This is one of her latest, but oldest makes, a lovely willow tree mounted on a mirror base. I love how the tree reflects in the mirror like it sits above the water on a calm day.
The roots are all twisted, which is where her small business name comes from, and they really are a trademark of her beautiful sculptures.
I love her use of different colour beads on this one, giving the willow tree a real depth to it.
And it's beautiful from every angle you look at it too. So you can position it in the middle of a table and everyone would be able to enjoy it from every angle. A real talking point.
Even from the back, this gorgeous tree sculpture is full of detail.
